Azets is fortunate to have a dynamic and experienced team, and one of our valued colleagues is Andreas Fredvinge, our Nordic sales manager at our international payroll team. Having been with Azets for 10 years, Andreas has grown within the company, taking on new challenges and responsibilities along the way.
10 years with growth
Andreas began his career at Azets in 2014. Over the years, his enthusiasm for engaging with clients and his drive to take on more responsibilities led to his involvement with larger clients and more complex sales operations. His passion for connecting with colleagues from different countries and tackling international challenges was a perfect match for Nordic Payroll.
“My years at Azets have been very rewarding, and the environment gave me room to evolve. I’ve always been keen to learn, to talk to people from different cultures, and to take on bigger cases, and I found a place to do that”.
How is it like being a Nordic sales manager at Azets?
In his current role, Andreas’s days are filled with meetings with potential clients, particularly those interested in multi-country payroll solutions. His work often involves negotiating agreements with global companies, which requires a deep understanding of their complex needs and the ability to coordinate across multiple departments within Azets. He regularly collaborates with the payroll specialists, the sales directors and the marketing department, to ensure that Azets’ services meet the high standards expected by its clients.
“A lot of my time is spent in meetings—whether with potential clients, discussing new implementations, or in strategic discussions with the international payroll leadership team. We’re constantly refining and renewing ourselves to stay ahead in the market, and it’s exciting to be part of that,” Andreas explains.
Building trust and relationships is key
Andreas’s background in sales was influenced by his early experiences helping in his father’s store and later working at a sport’s shop while studying. These roles taught him the importance of building trust with customers, a principle he has carried throughout his career. He has always believed in being honest and straightforward with clients, not being a “krängare” (the Swedish term for someone who is just interested in closing a deal no matter what), and focusing on long-term relationships rather than just closing a sale.
“Customer meetings are the highlight of my job. Being physically present, understanding their needs, and building that trust is what makes my job so enjoyable. I’ve had the opportunity to travel around the Nordics, and even to Sofia, Bulgaria, to present solutions to potential clients. Each experience has been unique and enriching.”
Moving from Stockholm to Kristiansand
Andreas is originally from Stockholm and started at Azets as a sales consultant at our office at Rotebro, and Solna after that. During his time in Sweden, he managed to jump between several departments. Being agile and dynamic is important values for Andreas, and Azets has been able to offer him opportunities when they appear. After six years in two different offices in Stockholm, a new chapter unfolded. Now he lives in Kristiansand in the south of Norway, juggling work, renovation and family life consisting of a wife and four children. Now they have finished building their brand-new home, and soon with (hopefully) more time on his hands brings him closer to the mountains and the sea—perfect for his love of outdoor activities. In addition to spending time with his family, Andreas enjoys mountain biking and is looking forward to having more time for this hobby now that the house is complete.
“The process of building a home has been intense, but incredibly rewarding. I’ve always enjoyed transforming something old and worn into something new, and this project was no different.”
Why Azets?
For Andreas, one of the most rewarding aspects of working at Azets is the company’s commitment to development and growth. He appreciates that Azets is always evolving, keeping pace with market changes, and providing its employees with opportunities to work with interesting clients and brands. The company’s Nordic culture, with its emphasis on teamwork and open communication, has made it easy for Andreas to thrive.
“Azets is a company that’s constantly moving forward, and that’s important to me. Working here, I get to collaborate with talented people and take on exciting challenges. The culture is informal and supportive—everyone’s approachable, and it feels like we’re all in this together, no matter our role or level.”
At Azets, we’re proud to have Andreas as part of our team. We’re excited to see where Andreas’s journey takes him next, and we’re grateful for the expertise and energy he brings to our team.
