Key findings for Finland
- Finland’s business environment in 2026 is characterized by cautious realism, a strengthening of data-driven decision-making, and ongoing concerns related to geopolitical and economic uncertainty.
- Moderate economic outlook and more cautious than other Nordic countries. Finnish companies rate their economic outlook at an average of 6.0/10, below the overall average across all markets.
- Stable but below-average business performance. Finnish companies assess their business performance at an average of 6.6/10, compared to a cross-market average of 7.0.
- Artificial intelligence supports financial management, but HR processes lag behind. 44% of Finnish business leaders say that automation and AI already support financial forecasting and scenario planning.
- People-related risks are a key concern for Finnish companies. Only 49% of companies feel that risks related to personnel and skills are very well managed.
- The Finnish business landscape appears pragmatic and forward-looking. Although caution defines the outlook, companies have not come to a standstill.
