Azets develops Eurokangas’ LS Central solution with a long-term approach
The Finnish textile company Eurokangas uses the LS Central solution and relies on Azets as a long-term partner. The family-owned business, with 29 stores, an online shop and nationwide B2B sales, values continuity and the partner’s ability to develop solutions together. LS Central is a solution based on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, combining point-of-sale systems, inventory management and accounting to support both retail and in-house production needs.
The success of the collaboration is built on having the same people involved in projects and ongoing services, the partner’s deep industry knowledge and the ability to respond quickly to changing needs.
“LS Central supports our operations well. We’ve had the same people from Azets involved throughout, and this continuity is extremely important. Azets knows our business, and we know what they can deliver. The partnership has enabled continuous development of solutions,” explains Jari Nieminen, Chief Information Officer at Eurokangas.
Industry expertise adds value
Azets understands the specific characteristics of retail. This is evident in the development of solutions for point-of-sale systems, inventory management and production.
“Azets’ strength lies in their understanding of the special requirements of retail and production. LS Central integrates point-of-sale functions, inventory management and accounting, and Azets knows how to develop the whole to meet our needs,” says Nieminen.
Working together towards a standard solution
The latest major project was the version upgrade of LS Central and store tills. The aim was to move closer to a standard solution to make future updates and maintenance easier.
“Together we explored what the core system could deliver and where customisation was needed. We wanted to avoid upgrade debt and take advantage of LS Central’s new features. We achieved our goals mainly because Azets listened to our users,” Nieminen explains.
During the collaboration, procurement and replenishment automation has been introduced, and central warehouse operations have been streamlined using picking terminals. Azets has also built customised integrations as required.
Looking Ahead: AI and Automation
A long-term partnership also enables joint planning for the future. Eurokangas sees opportunities in automation and the use of artificial intelligence.
“We have automated procurement and stock replenishment, which has brought us significant benefits. In the future, our goal is to leverage Microsoft’s AI capabilities. Azets knows our operations and proactively highlights new opportunities,” Nieminen describes.
Ongoing services make the difference in everyday life

Eurokangas emphasises that a successful partnership does not end when projects are completed but is long-term.
“Delivering a project is important, but equally important is the support after implementation. Ongoing services require expertise, and Azets has proven to be reliable in this,” Nieminen stresses.
