VTS Gets Complete Financial Management Ecosystem from Azets

When VTS, Tampere's largest residential landlord with approximately 9,500 rental flats, sought a financial management system provider, they entered into a partnership with Azets. Azets' winning bid in the public procurement process included a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central ERP solution, Nomentia Banking payment services, Basware AP purchase invoice workflow system, and invoice transmission services for both purchase and sales invoices. 

VTS thoroughly reviewed its structure and target state with various suppliers during the tender process. Scoring followed public procurement procedures, and Azets achieved the highest marks. 

"Azets had ready-made solutions that fitted our environment," says Ville Salo, Finance Manager at VTS. 

The implementation went smoothly from VTS's perspective. Azets provided expert personnel to deliver the project, and it progressed efficiently. 

"We made certain changes along the way, which were handled very well by Azets' specialists, resulting in a fully functional solution," says Salo. He continues: "Azets' support was excellent during migration and other project-related matters. Overall, the project went remarkably well, and we kept to schedule." 

VTS no longer transfers data via Excel—integrations now automate data transfers. 

"We've significantly reduced manual processes and increased automation levels. That's perhaps the biggest change, freeing up time for more important tasks," says Salo. 

During the project's intense phase, VTS needed additional team support. Azets was able to help quickly by providing an interim specialist who assisted with Business Central queries, among other things. 

"We needed extra resources to ensure successful migration. Azets provided us with a financial management interim consultant at very short notice," Salo recalls. He continues: "We're pleased that when needed, we can get help from Azets again, as they have experience with our systems environment." 

VTS has benefited from Azets' specialists and particularly the interim consultant. They've made process development easier. 

"Azets' specialists have been able to challenge our practices and offer development ideas and improvement suggestions along the way. They have a proactive attitude and experience-driven insight, which they know how to apply to the client's environment," says Salo. 

VTS users are satisfied with the overall system and automation. "Nobody's longing for the old environment. We've had good feedback from operations, for example about the purchase invoice process. We've moved forward, and it serves its purpose well, particularly for reporting needs," Salo describes. 

Salo is satisfied with the service delivery: "Azets' service delivery has been able to respond flexibly to requests. We've been able to make broad use of Azets' expertise in developing our financial processes." 

VTS has since implemented Azets Expense travel and expenses application and continues to develop its systems with Azets. 

"We're still developing our financial ecosystem together with Azets. It serves our business needs very well," says Salo. He concludes: "I feel we have a genuine and caring partnership with Azets. When it comes to development, there's real strength in working together."
