Rory is an experienced, business-focused Company Secretary, dedicated to delivering high-quality services to a diverse portfolio of international and domestic clients across various sectors. With a strong emphasis on the application of good governance principles, Rory works closely with both Irish and UK-registered entities to ensure they meet their company law and compliance obligations.
Rory’s expertise extends to advising clients on a wide range of corporate matters, including:
- Conducting due diligence on statutory records.
- Incorporation of Irish and UK registered entities.
- Reviewing governance structures and internal policies.
- Carrying out Summary Approval Procedures for restricted activities, such as domestic mergers, capital reductions, connected party loans, and financial assistance for share acquisitions.
- Overseeing the dissolution of solvent companies.
- Facilitating corporate group and share reorganisations.
- Advice on filing requirements in relation to financial statements.
Rory is an Associate Member of the Corporate Governance Institute and holds an LLB (Bachelor of Laws) and an MSc in Management and Corporate Governance from Ulster University.
Before joining Azets in December 2020, Rory gained valuable experience working at a top 10 international audit, tax, and advisory firm in Dublin.
