Heather joined Azets in May 2020, following her prior position as a Tax Partner. Previously she spent 10 years of her career working in the retail industry as Group Financial Director for Lush Ltd.
Heather's clients include owner managed businesses and private clients. Her past experience, as Head of IP, has led Heather to have a particular specialism within the world of R&D and Patent Box for innovative businesses. Heather also has considerable experience in valuing businesses for both tax purposes, divorce and in conflict scenarios. Heather specialises in tax for Owner Managed Businesses including R&D, Share Schemes, and remuneration planning.
Heather is a member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation (FCA), is an ICAEW fellow (CTA) and also holds an MA and an MBA from Manchester Business School.
Away from work, Heather enjoys jogging and upholstery, for which she has taken lessons for almost six years.
