Melanie is an experienced Corporate Tax Partner, based in the Hertford office and is Head of Tax for Azets’ South region.
After completing her degree in Business Economics with Accounting at the University of Southampton, Melanie began her accounting career in top 10 firms focusing on working with SMEs. Following a period spent in industry as a Management Accountant, Melanie joined the tax department at a top 10 firm where she stayed for 11 years – being made Partner in 2008. Since then she has held Tax Partner roles at mid tier firms and was Managing Director at a tax consultancy firm.
As a tax specialist with many years of experience advising family and owner-managed businesses, Melanie works closely with her clients to understand their risks and minimise their tax exposure. She’s passionate about combining her tax knowledge and experience in working with businesses to help business owners achieve their goals.
