Azets, the international outsourcing, compliance, and advisory group, has acquired Naver Ejendomsadministration in Denmark, strengthening its property management services in the Nordics.
The deal marks Azets’ ninth acquisition in nine months, as the group continues to deliver against its acquisitive growth strategy, with a plan to double revenue in the next five years across all regions.
It follows the recent acquisitions of Sandisons, Tait Walker, Garbutt & Elliott and Inspire Accountants in the UK, Karabingruppen in Norway, DanAccount and KMD Perspektiv in Denmark, and Isännöinti Rantamäki in Finland, as Azets reinforces its position as the leading voice for the SME sector.
Naver Ejendomsadministration is based in Skibby, Hornsherred. The company employs ten people and works with almost 100 co-operative housing associations, owners' associations, property share companies, and yard associations, as well as several independent rental and investment properties.
Azets acquired Naver Ejendomsadministration from co-owners Dorte Mørk Mortensen and Mogens Mortensen, who have been planning their succession after buying out founder Bente Naverin 2017. The acquisition provides a secure future for Naver Ejendomsadministration’s clients and its proprietary app, FlatCom, which ensures an effective data and information exchange with clients.
Mogens Mortensen said: “Over several years, we have built a company where the employees have become our family and where our clients have become more than clients. So, the decision on who will continue our life's work is a big one. The chemistry with Azets was good from the first meeting – and our values of professional client service, presence, and commitment to the clients, as well as good working conditions for the employees, were also aligned. With this sale, we give our employees the opportunity for professional development in an attractive expert environment alongside 300 talented colleagues.”
All employees at Naver Ejendomsadministration have been offered jobs at Azets, which has its Danish head office in Herlev and performs tasks within payroll, accounting, and HR for both private and public clients.
Chris Horne, Group CEO at Azets, said: “I’m delighted to welcome Naver Ejendomsadministration and our new colleagues into the group, as the latest strategic acquisition within our proactive M&A programme. We are looking to work with people who share our vision. In Naver Ejendomsadministration, we see many of the same values around talent development and service excellence, and we will work hard maintain the outstanding reputation Naver Ejendomsadministration has built over the past 20 years.”
June Mejlgaard Jensen, Managing Director at Azets Denmark, added: “We understand how a good working environment directly translates to quality client service. And we know how much clients value being served by the same consultants and advisors. Therefore, Naver's clients and people can expect business as usual.”
