Azets 4 Kids – our way of taking social responsibility

Azets 4 Kids is an important part of Azets’ ESG program across our entire organisation. The Azets 4 Kids initiative supports children by providing the tools and resources they need to build a brighter future for the planet. Children are the sole reason Azets 4 Kids exists, and we are committed to taking them seriously. Through various projects and partnerships with non-profit organisations, Azets 4 Kids aims to be part of the change and help create a better future for children.

In December 2022, Azets signed a contract with Normative to collect externally verified data on carbon emissions and to receive support in setting net-zero targets for the entire Azets Group.
The agreement provides us with comprehensive and detailed insights within the scope of emissions categories 1, 2, and 3, helping us identify appropriate emission reduction measures.

In recent years, Azets has supported a large number of clients in understanding how they are affected by the EU’s Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) — through direct advisory services as well as seminars and other client events.
It is estimated that nearly 50,000 companies across Europe will be impacted by CSRD, including a significant share of our client base.
At Azets, we aim to support our clients throughout their ESG journey and help them meet future sustainability reporting requirements.

Our thoughts remain with everyone affected by the humanitarian crisis in Ukraine.
Many of our Romanian colleagues are volunteering in their free time to help Ukrainian refugees find shelter in Romania. Thanks to their efforts, Azets 4 Kids is able to show its support by donating food, clothing, and other essentials to those arriving in the country.
Azets 4 Kids also supports several leading charities that are providing direct emergency relief efforts in Ukraine.

Azets 4 Kids is proud to join forces with Plastic Oceans Europe (POE) in their important mission to end plastic pollution. Through annual donations to POE’s outstanding educational program Blue Generations, Azets 4 Kids supports their efforts to raise awareness about plastic pollution and inspire young people to take better care of our planet.
The Blue Generations program includes lectures, beach and river cleanups, and various workshops for schools across Europe, aiming to educate children aged 5–17 about conscious consumption and the preservation of our oceans.

In 2022, Azets in Norway entered into a partnership with MoreScope to offer carbon accounting as a service to our clients.
MoreScope is an organisation founded by an interdisciplinary research group at SINTEF, one of Europe’s largest independent research institutes.
Through this partnership, we can help our clients trace their value chains and enhance the value of the financial data we process on their behalf.

To mark the UN’s annual World Oceans Day, Azets 4 Kids invites Azets' more than 7,000 employees, partners, and clients every June to take part in local clean-up efforts, removing plastic and other waste from the environment.
Azets Plastic Pick-Up Day is our way of giving back to local communities and reminding both ourselves and those around us that we need to be part of the change.

Twelve Days of Christmas is our charity campaign, created in line with Azets' mission.
For twelve days leading up to Christmas, we were proud to support a number of charitable organisations that our employees are personally involved in.

We are continuously working to create a truly inclusive culture where everyone can be themselves and reach their full potential. Our Black Hair Commitment is based on the “Dress for your day” framework and aims to ensure that everyone feels free to express their full identity in the workplace.
Our emBRace network has developed a Black Hair Commitment guide that explains the history of hair discrimination and outlines what we can all do to support our colleagues, while also formalising our zero-tolerance stance on the issue.

The orphanage in Orlat, Romania, holds a special place in Azets’ history, as it was the very first charity initiative launched by Azets 4 Kids.
Since 2019, Azets 4 Kids has supported the orphanage by donating clothes, toys, and equipment, as well as organising fun and educational activities for the children.
Azets 4 Kids’ commitment to the Orlat orphanage continues to this day.

For some, Christmas can be a particularly difficult time of year – especially for children who, for various reasons, are unable to celebrate the holidays as they would like.
Through our annual Azets 4 Kids Christmas Charity Initiative, we aim to spread a little holiday joy to children who need it most.
Each year, we partner with different non-profit organisations to help make Christmas a bit brighter for many.
