Mike qualified as a Chartered Accountant before moving to a national firm to specialise in tax. He qualified as a Chartered Tax Advisor in 2001 and became a partner in 2005. In 2013, Mike joined Azets, and became a Partner.
Mike’s diverse portfolio includes, owner-managed businesses along with entrepreneurs and High Net Worth Individuals. Working collaboratively with clients, he specialises in corporate and personal taxes, advising on areas such as sales and acquisitions, succession planning, corporate restructuring, share schemes, share valuations and capital tax planning. Mike also advises clients on HMRC enquiries. His sector experience spans agriculture and farming, technology, property and construction and renewable energy.
Mike is a member of the ICAEW Tax Faculty and belongs to a number of tax specialist groups at WK. He is a regular contributor to a number of technical journals, internally and externally.
