Coronavirus: Preventive measures and activities
An updated list of measures and activities carried out by Azets to minimize the risks associated with the coronavirus.

At Azets, we continue to monitor the development of the coronavirus (COVID-19) closely. As a large business, we have a responsibility to protect our customers, our employees and society as a whole.
We are continuously following the updated guidelines from local authorities, and we have taken several steps to prevent further spreading of the virus.
Most of our 6,500+ employees in Europe have been successfully working from home during the past few months. We are always ready to perform controlled closedowns and reopenings of our Azets offices, depending on the development – in a way that is safe for everyone.
Standardization of processes and routines
Our working processes and routine are standardized. This enables our teams to work efficiently across customers, while being less dependent on individuals. We always have access to solid backup, and the ability to utilize resources across the organization whenever needed.
Group-level crisis team
From the very beginning of the virus outbreak, we established a fully operational crisis team working across Azets. This high-level team consists of our members of management and other key roles. This is to make absolutely sure that we are constantly and systematically monitoring the impact of the coronavirus throughout our business and markets. We are ready to take any necessary action immediately and adjust our priorities accordingly. Right now, we do not see any major impact on our capabilities to deliver our services and customer support as agreed.
The following steps have already been enforced in Azets:
Closedowns and reopenings of offices
Most of our people in Europe have been working from home – fully operational. However, we have started to gradually reopen our offices throughout Europe. The offices will be reopened at different stages, depending on geography, the number of people, guidelines from local authorities, public transportation and other key factors. We will also be ready to close down any office if the situation calls for it.
We are not opening an office unless it is considered absolutely safe and we are not taking any unnecessary risks to jeopardize the wellbeing of our people.
Azets has imposed temporary business travel restrictions for all our employees. All air travel, both domestic and abroad, should be avoided. All employees that have been visiting defined risk areas must stay home for at least 14 consecutive days before returning to the office. The restrictions also apply to employees whose family members have visited risk areas.
Business continuity plan
Azets has prepared a thorough Business Continuity Plan and we recently activated an internal committee working specifically with the coronavirus. The management team has been properly trained for these kinds of situations.An escalated situation will be handled efficiently, and any necessary measures will be taken.
Currently, the following activities are being carried out by Azets:
- All employees have the modern IT infrastructure and digital equipment required to work efficiently and securely from home in case of quarantine
- Delivery organizations are spread across different office locations, increasing our possibilities to sustain deliveries through balance and share of workload
- All employees are given instructions on good hand and cough etiquette to minimize spreading
- Hand sanitizers are available in all offices
- All guests arriving at our locations must confirm that they have not been visiting risk areas to get access
