Gaurav is a Transaction Services Partner at Azets, focused on private equity and corporate clients. He combines deep technical diligence expertise with a strong sponsor, lender and corporate network, bringing the perspective of having executed transactions across the UK, US and India.
Previously at a Big 4 firm, Gaurav advised on more than 150 transactions over 14+ years, bringing large cap rigor to mid market deals and providing investment committee and board level assurance on buy side and sell side situations typically ranging from £30 million to over £100 million. He works closely with PE deal teams, portfolio management and corporate development to support robust underwriting, bankability and smooth execution.
Gaurav has extensive transaction services experience across TMT, Healthcare, Industrials and Retail, helping PE sponsors, their portfolio companies and corporate acquirers pinpoint the real drivers of performance and translate these into sustainable earnings and value creation. His work goes beyond traditional diligence, with a sharp focus on working capital dynamics and cash generation, and deeper insight into trading performance and the KPIs that drive valuation multiples – giving investors the conviction to price risk appropriately and back their investment thesis.
