Matt joined Azets in 2025 to blend a client facing audit partner role with leading the firm’s audit ethics and compliance function. He has a 25 year audit career, and has experience of working with private equity backed, listed, international and regional businesses, as well as owner managed businesses and partnerships.
Matt was elected to ICAEW Council, representing West Yorkshire and was appointed Chair of ICAEW Council 2023-2026.
Outside work, he enjoys running the charity that operates the Keighley and Worth Valley Railway with a team of over 800 volunteers, and also spending time with his family and three rescued dogs.
