Matthew is a Partner and RI based in our Aberdeen office who heads up our Audit & Assurance Team. He joined Azets in June 2021 having spent 11 years in an audit role at another firm, where he qualified as a CA. He has extensive experience in both the UK GAAP and IFRS technical reporting standards for compiling and presenting financial statements.
He is responsible for delivering audit, assurance and financial reporting services to a portfolio of clients from owner-managed businesses to multi-nationals.
His sector expertise spans energy and marine services, the food and drink industry, and manufacturing and construction, with clients based both in the UK and overseas. Among his other specialisms is the provision of grant claim assurance reports and independent audit examinations for charities.
