Praveen is the firm’s UK Head of Tax. Prior to Praveen joining the firm, he trained and qualified as a CTA with a national practice in London before moving to the Midlands area. He has been with the firm for over a decade and represents tax on the firm’s Senior Leadership team.
Praveen joined Azets in 2015 as a Tax Partner in the Midlands, before becoming the Birmingham Office Managing Partner in 2020.
Praveen is a board member of the ICAEW Tax faculty and is also a trustee to a local charity.
Before his role on the Leadership Team, Praveen advised entrepreneurs and their businesses across both personal and corporate tax affairs. He provided his clients with a range of planning advice, identifying innovative ideas that brought real value to their businesses - focusing on both cash tax savings and the wider tax strategy of the business. He brings a balanced, commercial approach to issues and has a strong empathy with his clients and colleagues, gained through his many years’ experience in advising growing businesses and working in professional services
