Experienced in both lead advisory and transaction services, Simon has built upon his training as an accountant to become accomplished in Corporate Finance (Mergers & Acquisitions). His expertise encompasses a broad spectrum including:
- Succession planning – helping clients to build towards and execute successful transactions, including sale, management buy-outs (MBO) and employee ownership trusts (EOT).
- Acquisition advice – providing assistance to entities looking to acquire a business.
- Financial Due Diligence –with previous clients including trade buyers, private equity and financial institutions.
- Raising debt – to support transactions and growth
- Valuations of businesses – for a range of purposes including commercial and tax based (CGT/IHT).
Simon won the Insider Media award for Emerging Dealmaker of the Year in 2021 for the Central & East region, and the experience gained throughout his career has allowed him to become a specialist valuer of businesses for both commercial and litigation purposes.
Simon also undertakes valuations as a Single Joint Expert Witness for court purposes.
